Trial & billing
The trial
Section titled “The trial”Every new SignalDay account gets 60 days free with no credit card required. Sign up, do as many rebalances as you like, connect real accounts if you want to — there’s nothing behind a paywall during the trial.
You’ll see the number of days left in the header. SignalDay also emails you before the trial ends so it’s never a surprise.
What happens when the trial ends
Section titled “What happens when the trial ends”At the moment the trial expires, SignalDay switches your account to read-only:
- You keep your data. Nothing is deleted, ever, when a trial expires.
- You can still view every account, position, mapping, past rebalance, and past signal.
- You can still export your data at any time (CSV of positions, JSON of rebalances — see export & delete (coming soon)).
- You cannot paste a new signal or generate a new checklist. The paste box and the generate button are replaced with a Subscribe to continue call to action.
No card charged, no trial-to-paid auto-conversion. If you never come back, nothing happens to your data or your money.
How to subscribe
Section titled “How to subscribe”Click Subscribe anywhere it appears — the header, the trial-ended screen, the Billing page in your settings. That opens Stripe Checkout in a new tab.
- Enter your card details on Stripe’s page. SignalDay never sees the card number.
- When Stripe confirms the payment, your account is on immediately — the paste box and the generate button come back with no further action.
How to cancel
Section titled “How to cancel”Two ways:
- From inside SignalDay. Settings → Billing → Manage subscription opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancel there and it takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then, then the account drops back to the same read-only state as an expired trial.
- Email help@signalday.co. Kurt can cancel from his side if the portal isn’t behaving.
Either way, no data is deleted on cancellation. Coming back later just means resubscribing — everything you built during the trial or the subscription is still there.
Beta invite codes
Section titled “Beta invite codes”If Kurt gave you a beta invite code, entering it at signup applies a 100%-off coupon for a year instead of starting the 60-day trial. Same product, no trial clock, no card required for the first year.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”If you subscribe and then decide within seven days that SignalDay isn’t for you, email help@signalday.co and Kurt will refund the charge in full. No form, no reason required. After seven days it’s the standard end-of-billing-period cancellation above.
